THE EYE a.k.a. Gin gwai is a chinese Horror MovieDirector: Oxide Pang Chun, Danny Pang A blind girl gets a cornea transplant so that she would be able to see again. However, she got more than what she bargained for when sherealised she could even see ghosts.

Some of these ghosts are down right unfriendly.So she embarks on a journey to find the origins of her cornea and to reveal the history of the previous dead owner.

it annoys me when movies try to pass synthesized music for orchestrated music. I can dig synth, but not when the music is supposed to be authentic. Other than that, it was a really good movie. The twist in events towards the end gave me the chills.

The Eye aka Gin Gwai i wouldnt say that this is a scary horror it has some creepy scenes. The storyline is good and as usual the original is way better then the US remake

For your info ...a lot of remakes suck-no matter who makes them...so once again stop putting down all Americans-if you don\'t know that Americans are a diverse people, which include Asian-Americans as well, then you really have to get out more

ALL TIME GREAT! Best Pang Brothers movie, the rest are usually half a good film, but this one is superb.
A nice change to the usual 1 ghost per film, this one has fascinating ghost sightings of all sorts of ghosts. A great story that grips you from the start.
On a personal note, the long winded violin solo sequence makes me cringe..awful tune!
10/10 for all round fab ghost movie

I enjoyed this movie much more than the American remake. It explained alot more and did so without the drama movie fluff. The ending was much more sad though. 9/10 Cant wait to watch The Eye 2.
