Holy crap, stupid frikkin\' Uncle! I\'m pissed off at that uncle! If my uncle did that to me I\'d take a dump in his stupid apartment, see how he liked those apples. Umm, anyway, watch this, you\'ll like it. It\'s pretty good all around, and a very nice short. Holy Crap am I hearing voices....????

His uncle knew what was going on that is how he tricked him! He didn\'t tell him in detail what would happen he only gave him enough information to make him curious.

@ jack76 .The movie plays fine.I think you are probably using a wireless conection and your connection blipped/reset this will lose the movie and reset it.refresh the page and try again.

I love this but I don\'t understand why the ghost followed him in the end. And why does he have to answer. Is it that if he doesn\'t answer them the ghost will appear in front of him and then after that she starts to follow him? That would explain the end to me. Maybe that\'s how his uncle came about her in the first place. Someone had done that to him. But then who\'s name was it calling? I know it\'s not the uncles name but is it the nephew\'s?... I hope someone can shed some light on to this for me.

Haneul, I meant the uncle tricked him by only giving enough info to get him into trouble; I mean come on, give the poor guy a machete or something! Siren I like your ideas, I had thought perhaps she was in love with the nephew? I dunno but it really says something about this very short movie that it\'s made this many of us scratch our heads this much. 2 thumbs + 2 big toes way up.

I think siren is right , thats how the uncle got haunted.Maybe when he was on one of his business trips and didn\'t answer the ghost in one of the rooms he stayed and it followed him back to his place.
Also was it just me of did the ghost seem jealous of them when he went to kiss the girl?maybe that has something to do with it.

Yeah good ideas everyone. I dont think his uncle wants to get him in trouble. I think he wants to get his nephew out of trouble and get him out of trouble as well. lol. The ghost is in the apartment right? as long as someone answers it wont show itself. Thats why the uncle made him promise and keeps reminding him non stop to always answer so that the ghost wont appear on his nephew. Thats why he asked his nephew to look after the apartment anyways coz if nobody was there and no one answered the ghost, it would follow the uncle wherever he goes (i think). But when the nephew didnt answer and the ghost came out, the ghost recognized the nephews face and followed him coz she thought he was Kazunori-san. Thus the possibility of Siren\"s theory that the exact same thing happened to the uncle..

is this part of the film? Because I have the entire set of 5 minute shorts and I know this wasn\'t part of it (being 14 mins long and all). I must get the film unless you promise me you will be uploading more of it!!! :)

This was great!!
I saw this a few yr.s back, on an asian film site, that featured a different short creepy film,every day all through the month of \"August...The month of hungry ghosts.\"I think it was .
If we could could the entire collection here, that would be cool.
I\'ll keep my eyes open for it, and let Sada know if I can find it.

I do however need to tell you that i have been trying to watch this movie for the last 3 days. At first it just would not play but now it tells me that the movie can\'t be found. When you have the time could you please fix this. You have done such a wonderful job here and made a great site for people to enjoy. Please keep up the good work.

Ohhh that poor uncle getting such harsh words from everybody here. Does nobody get it? The uncle wasnt trying to get his nephew into trouble; the uncle was a very lonely man, and he had gotten used to the company in that place on his own - maybe even fallen in love with her.

He had made his nephew promise to answer the call so that she wouldnt leave him once he returned from his business trip.

How the uncle came to be haunted by the ghost in the first place is anybodys guess - seeing as the name she was calling was not the uncles. Maybe he had failed to answer many years before, but he now loves this woman and she will stick around as long as she is answered.

AWESOME! What a brilliant short story! Not only well executed with some semblances of humour but visually riveting! This is the kind of thing I'd love to read as a novel! I love the intrigue it causes as well, so many questions left unanswered but in a classy creepy way!!
