I agree the speed & style is a little bit old fashion...but it reminds everyone\'s deep in their minds the scary feelings that may forgotton especially when you were a child...

OMG..paralysis indeed happened to me several times...it\'s like i can\'t move my body but my mind is definitely concious. I can open my eyes but i can\'t shout coz nothing comes out from my mouth. I see weird things flying around, they dont have definite shapes and not sure what those stuffs are. The part of my body that i can move 1st are the thumbs of my toes..i have to struggle hard to get back my conciousness. But later i get used to it...now it happens atleast once a month. thus, it\'s pretty much easier for me to get out of it. I know that science can explain this...but i really dont know why i feel so strange if i stare at the moving black thing for a long time. That\'s why i usually close my eyes everytime this weird thing happens (ussually at night)...i feel unexplainable sadness every after i get back to my senses..it takes a few minutes after i feel normal...until now i am searching for an explaination...is this really in line of super natural thing or science has something to say...?

Al its called sleep paralysis. when we go to sleep our body enters a paralysis state to prevent us acting out our dreams. Normally it goes away immediately when we awake rarely it doesn\'t

AL wat it mean is that a ghost is sitting on your body or is on you while your sleeping...im cambodian and we believe that if that happen is a ghost that is on top of you holding you down..lucky for you is that you didnt actually see a ghost like a person form cause alot of peoples i know that went throught that seen a person but it was a spirit..the only this should happen to anyone is that if they sleep straight on there back with there arms and legs straight and crossed together like if you were dead in a coffen it trigger that to happen...might sound crazy but it true...hope that help

The sleep paralysis phenomenon is indeed scientfically explained...I researched it a bit after reading the comments here and watching the movie and I can say I got relieed in the fact that I could also explain what has happened to me several times~ It is closely connected with the superstition that a ghost is holding you down or sitting on your chest *connected with the feeling that you can\'t breathe properly during the paralysis* but it happens mostly to people who don\'t get enough sleep or sleep at irregular hours~It\'s common,I mean most people nowadays sleep late feeling anxious or stressed ... well end of the scientific talk ;P

slim, im hmong and i believe what you are saying because it happens to me also. but the sleeping part im gonna have to say that its not like that. i get even if i sleep on my side. my cousin often gets it sleeping with his front on the bed instead. i do believe that it is a ghost that is sitting on you.

How do scientists know it isn't a ghost causing the physiological effects of sleep paralysis?I love this series and wish they would make more!
