Perhaps, the girl got murdered. Lifted at 9 pm, struggling a bit, then put to sleep with a drug, a device slowly thightening around her neck to make her finally die at 2 am, struggling one more time. Perhaps, the killer stood outside, having fun to see her dying. Or you can find a trace of the device used, if you dare to look in the corner she was pointing at.

This was my wild guess.

Ok what I think is it could be that someone did come in through the window and kill her by making it look like suicide (Thats why she was pointing at the window) .As for times times I have no idea.
Maybe they came at 9pm then checked back at 2 am to see if she was dead.

I wish people would comment on movie ratings than trying to play verbal detective and spoil the movies plot for others that did;t see it yet. Real turn off

You want my rating? There it is: this little short was nice, not too scary, but I always appreciate the efforts of our admins trying to give us some new bits to chew on.

Hm....I think maybe at 9pm she attempted to commit suicide by hanging, but fell. (she wanted to escape her stalker, who always came through the window) But her stalker decided to kill her that night and made it look like a suicide at 2am. Personally, i would have asked the ghost before I left lol

I am with the camp that thinks she was murdered. She definitely seems to be pointing to the window so it's a fair guess that the killer came in and left that way. Perhaps he came in at 9, killed her sometime within those 5 hours, then left at 2am.

she was struck at 2, died at 9, and pointing towards her hidden diary or bones. thats just about what happens in all of them

What i believe happened was that the stalker came through the window at 9pm, raped the lady and then quickly fled due to the fear of being caught (because of the amount of noise she made from struggling). The rape gave the lady extreme feelings of shock, violation, self disgust and due to that the lady struggled with thoughts of suicide up until 2am when she decided, finally, to hang herself. Excellent short story by the way 6/10.

I see it this way, Satomi and the renter are the first people I seen in an Asian horror not waste their time investigating. They performed what seemed a very natural response. Get out of Dodge. Screw why it was happening. LOL.

Here is my thought, based on the great number of Asian horror I've watched. Maybe she did kill herself, maybe it was over love, maybe her lover was supposed to come at 9pm. But maybe he lived in eye shot of that window. She sees him with another woman, and being so jealous and distraught, she hung herself. Slowly choking to death by 2am. Her pointing an accusing finger symbolizes her blame of that person for her suffering and death. And that is regardless of the fact that said individual may no longer live there. Just a thought.

Of course if you ask the director he might just say it was very creepy so thats why.

I think she might have been murdered too but who gets hung and suffers for 6hrs? and the noises were only heard at those two times

Murder-suicide, perhaps? The woman lures her scorn lover to her apartment, weakens him and hangs him at 9pm. After he's dead, she throws him out the window and hides his body, then returns to her apartment. At 2am, she hangs herself, pointing to where you might find her lovers corpse. That's why she was seen at 2am and not 9pm. I like open ended stories where we can make up our own ideas. :D

At 9 she must have killed her cat and the cat struggled.....Then at 2am she felt guilt and hung herself and pointed out the window to let someone know she threw the cat out of the window and maybe someone can save it? that's why her eyes were wide open...?

This one is easy what the ghost was trying to tell the girl is that someone came through her window around 9 pm and kill her at 2 am, Now given the time frame i say she was rape by and intruder and than the rapist hang her to make it look like a suicide.

Okay for a short. And, a group of drunken aliens invaded her apartment for booze, she struggles and they string her up, her finger points through rigor, but she was just trying to let the authorities know that A. "they're about THIS tall, the little bastards" that IS what happened. For sure.YEPPERS, this was easy. Testelemerda.
