personally i could not make it through the 1st part,i made it to about 45 minutes but it was so boring and made no since to me..i tried finding the 1st movie but couldnt find it on here,maybe if i had seen the 1st one this one would have made since but from the 1st 45 minutes i didnt even see one scary part

@ Jennluvshorror - the 1st one that is mentioned is under Japanese movies and is called Shrill cries of summer, i just found it and will watch it as well before this one, hope that helps and enjoy :D

Somebody put an anime up on here a couple of years ago with the same storyline. I wonder which came first. The movies, or the anime. Because they're as alike as the Death Note anime vs the movies.

I suppose this is better than the first live action movie but I'm still disappointed in how the actos don't look at all like the original characters. This is better than the first but the anime still kicks ass and these don't.
I laughed at "Kei-chan, WTF?" in the subtitles X,D
