Count D is the mysterious caretaker of a pet shop in Los Angeles' Chinatown. Each of D's pets, which all have strangely humanoid appearances, comes with a contract with three major points.

These points differ for each animal sold, and breaking this contract usually results in dire (and sometimes very disturbing) consequences for the buyer, for which the pet shop claims no liability.

@ hmmmm? , Our Mistake , well spotted , yes this version is 1999 , its "Pet Shop of Horrors Tokyo" thats 2008.We have amended the dates, thnx for letting us know.:D

This one I do not need to see as I have seen it before elsewhere. But I recommend it to everyone. Very interesting and cool anime.

A definite must-see! I remember watching this years ago when I was a teenager and I still love it. Good for those love seeing people get what they deserve... or what\'s coming to them. XD

That was a great anime. I don\'t know why they produced only 4 episodes. I found and read all 10 manga volumes and the stories are pretty good. It\'s like a \"Twilight zone\" universe. Great drawings.
