This movie is alright...

Nice Movie .I love seeing the traditional stories Like this.

I was predisposed to like this movie and it tried very hard to be a good one,but it just couldn\'t pull it off.

I bought this movie a long time ago and it was alright. It was very good as a drama but they went off into left field on the horror part of it and it was just lacking in something-Lily already nailed it on the head, saying they tried to make it good but couldn\'t pull it off. But great find, guys, this one is kind of rare!

WOW!Great suspense drama. The punishments were a little intense.
It even had a little humor. Did you check out the younger nurse sneaking her \"smoke\" breaks. That was too cute and hilarious.
It was great drama for me. I have to add that one to my personal collection. Thanks

hmmm lets see.
1- LOTS of drama, like woah lots, makes u confused and can easily get lost
2- sorta tries to make SOOOOO much happening, trying to make an impression of SOOOOOO bigness
3- LOTS of drama that is not related to the main case thats being investigated. its sorta like EXPLORER-THE-PALACE-COURT-IN-4-PARTS-ENCYCLOPEDIA kinda thing
corruption, power struggle, throne heir dispute, feudal court girls, palace murder, conspiracy, ambitions, ghost possession, ghost haunt, ghost killing, like the WHOLE 9 yards in this 4-part movie.

........a bit too much to juggle if u ask me. only shakespeare could have juggled it all together and made sense with it all. but shakespeare is no longer around in 21st century...

my rating, 5/10 not scary, not creepy, a bit bloody, LOTS of mystery with no pieces that u can put together until everything is told to u

no pieces to put together ie. we werent told that lady Hee-Bin couldnt give birth. we couldnt put together that her maid substituted her in bed.
lots of misleading info ie. we thought the perve teacher was behind the murder but who woulda known it was the mistress maid who did the murder -.- and how were we to piece together hee-bin and the dead girl were sisters -.-

Its not, its a little confusing, no clues on anything on what so ever.

Movie Spoilor: This is what I see

`Ruyen is a sis with of the mistress Bin Hee.
`Ruyen had sex w the king\'s nephew who was playing around.
`the king\'s nephew was inlove with the mute girl, she is a commoner that he cannot married with. that is why after he die his soul comes to her.
`Mistress Bin Hee couldn\'t have child so her sister took over, risk her life to get Bin Hee to where Bin Hee wants (which is to become the king\'s favorit) But then Ruyen becomes ambitious and want the spot for herself.
`any how, Ruyen was already pregnant with the king\'s nephew, this is why they are not suppose to be expose or all of them will be in danger.
\'as for our main char, at the beginning of the movie, she was the one that dumb her baby.


So I see some connections, but a lot of info are still missing...

Just shows you how demonic a mother\'s love and ambition can be. Sadistic b*tches all of them. It\'s like they hate themselves getting each other hurt and just being selfish bullies. This is a perfect example of why royal blood lines died.

i really liked this movie the acting and costumes where first rate.the plot could be confusing in places but nevertheless a enjoyable movie.the people above who critised spent to much time trying to work it all out rather than just going with the flow imo.7-10,and well worth a second look.

this movie isnt that great at all. i dont kno why everyone is writing that it is so good, it was stupid. i think u should not watch this movie. you would be wasting ur time if you do.

Hmm...confusing mvie at parts but I kept watching it till the end just to see with what it would come up as a finale~

Good historical murder mystery with a little touch of the supernatural. This movie illustrates well why the rich suck. XD
If you like gore, monsters, ghosts, or a plot a 12 year old would understand, this definitely isn\'t for you.

it keeps freezing

It was an interesting movie, but there were a lot of clues missing which made it confusing. The first 3 parts were pretty much understandable but I got lost towards the last part. I think story is good, but a lot of clues were missing. Not much of a horror really. 7/10

The part when Mistress Hee Bin appears in the forest after she got dragged under the floor got me lost totally.
And the ending part.. chun-ryung suddenly had a change of heart? what?

To sickle and others who didn't understand movie. It is not Hee Bin at the end, it is her sister possessing her to get her child back and she wants her child to get to the throne later. Nurse's story is different, she isn't involved with the king, but palace ladies belong to the king officially. So they can't get married anyone else. That's why she abandoned her baby. There are other stories too, may be confusing but, if you get the main point and that time's courtesy rules, you can enjoy the movie.
