Excellent movie on revenge. Katayama was kicking ass and taking no prisoners. Kicking police ass.
He was no scared man. I loved it.
It makes you think how far you would go if someone killed a loved on.

Good movie however, I suggest watching Death Wish 1974 for some real action taken on punks for the same reason as in this movie.

Hey Twilight Zone, Thanks for the recommendation, but I already saw Death Wish in the Theater over 35 years ago! Plus a few dozen times on TV. It\'s not a new or unheard of film.

This one was great too.

I am a father or small children. Believe me when I say that I UNDERSTAND Mr. Katayama.

Wow. Miike is amazing....the Irvine Welsh of Japan. This movie really speaks volumes about the legal system and how there are so many holes in it. Its broken! Anyway.....great movie, very sad and understanding ending. 8/10
