From what I can gather, there is a guy, and he controls vampires that have some hand in protecting a drug cartel. Somewhere along the way, a drug agent gets killed and is turned into a robot.

Robots versus vampires; that part seems pretty clear. The rest of the movie primarily consists of roving gangs of kung fu people who run across each other from time to time. These incidents generally lead to passable karate, incompetent gunplay, or bouncing vampires. Fight scenarios are generally preceded by choice bits of dialogue like: “how dare you take my lover’s corpse powers and turn him into a vampire beast.

whahaha that american in the start is shooting with a m60 without ammo string you can sse the hole where it sepose to be xD

The soldier in the first scene was putting on Converse instead of boots and I like it. @pria, Chinese friend told me that their body are stiff because of death rigor and they have to hop. Spooky encounters is the one of the earliest chinese vampire movie.

@pria, the hopping corpses were believed to be started in China way back when during the war, families requested Taoist monks to bring back their dead loved ones. BTW, I have no intention to watch this movie.
