Watched this movie some time ago and can\'t quite remember everything, but I thought it was excellent. Twisted.

Beautifuly crafted a must watch there are some scares and tears but, well crafted movie LOVE LOVE LOVE.

it looks promising though the audio keeps me too distracted to watch it.

The ending was kind of confusing but it was a very meaningful movie. I can relate to her pain. Good movie:)

On my version the subs are dreadful and ruin the film. We are laughing at the bad translation when serious things are occurring. Sad...
The movie is pretty and interesting but I found the whole aborted baby thing too much. Starts well, goes downhill once she meets the kid. Loved the demonic threat and the twist may have been ok if my version was better. Maybe an undeserved 7/10 but 7/10 it is I am afraid.

what is the point of having two audios AT THE SAME TIME? even if you understand both, you wouldnt be able to catch a thing in that way...

Scary and moving. Heartbreaking actually. I\'ve always wondered about the premise of this movie. When we can so easily see the waste of our physical lives festering in land-fills across the globe, what happens to the waste of our mental, spiritual and emotional lives? Visually stunning to boot. Funnily enough, I found Angelica Lee a bit annoying in The Eye, but love, love, loved her in this. I\'ll watch Koma now to see if she really is that good an actress. The special effects in this were gob-smacking as well. I\'ve heard it likened to a Miyazaki anime film with live sets and that\'s not far off. When Ting-yin first steps into the world of the abandoned into the ramshackle city it looks like quite a few Miyazaki scenes I\'ve seen in the past. Just amazing all round actually. Well acted, well made and well written. 10/10

Amazing depth in this movie...loved it.
We (humans)are so complicated yet so simple, we think we are so different from each other..yet we are the same. Our fears, hopes & dreams, the things we love, and love to hate keep us bonded even when we do not think we are or want to be...we will always be connected by something larger than us{I know it sounds corny but***re-read this after u watch the movie!}

Awesome, awesome movie. Special effects were fantastic. It is thought provoking, spiritual, philosophical, and moving. Very well put together. It\'s rare that a movie can have me so engrossed that I can block out my surroundings and have time fly by.

---LouLou4u--- The way I saw the ending is that you have to go to the beginning where Ting-yin is giving an interview. She subconsciously becomes the character that she writes. That character comes to life because some of the writer is in the character Ting-yin. In the end, when she sees Ting-yin and vice versa, she has come full circle and met herself. Another way to look at it is, \"Am I a \"man\" dreaming I\'m a catepillar, or a catepillar dreaming I\'m a \"man\"? It\'s a Zen thing.

Wow, The Pang Brothers know how to do a movie on a grand scale, don\'t they? The effects were outstanding, the story line was unique and this was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Thanks to site managers for giving us such selection and so diverse films. I truly appreciate this site and the films you offer.

This is such a well put together piece of film. Not only does it work the parts in the brain that are looking for a great Asian Horror, but also makes you constantly think in so many different directions, it is great!

I give this film a 5/5 Easy..if possible 10/5.

Really cool movie, beautifully shot, weird and creepy landscapes but I too, did not like the ending at all and the whole abortion message was a little annoying...but a must-see nonetheless! 4.5/5

HOT DANG. I can't believe I can find this little gem of an outstanding movie in this site. And here I thought, after reading the synopsis, it was going to be one of those cheesy movies with low budget and badly planned out with so-so graphics. But... I was soo, OH! soooo wrong.

This has the quality of a well made/thought out movie comparable to the big league Hollywood. And that's something to be said. So far there hasn't been a movie that I've seen here that is such praise worthy. The movies I've seen here are good but, just short of great.

This film, however is great.

The subtle creepiness of the ghostly phantoms, the surreal, hair-raising hints that the actress isn't alone, and even the hand picked actor and actress with their own individual quirkiness is blended in so well; it sets the mood of a rightfully themed "horror movie" (especially when you consider it being a 2006 made film). It's just that good!

Then there's the beautiful, modern, artistic style of the background, that accents to the plot that makes it much more thrilling to watch. [Truth be told, I'm a bit spooked to further watch the movie, after the first 10 min into it. Not that it has anything to do with me watching the show at 5am in the morning, in a chilly room of mine, and in total darkness to boot =X ]

But nevertheless this is going to be a thrilling movie to continue watching.

My rating: 9.5/10 It's just that impressively good.

Sigh, I got a bit carried away there, that I've forgotten to complain about the translation work on the sub title. I've noticed that the re-wordings takes away a good chunk of the actors characters, which pisses me off a great deal.

30-40% of the dialogue is just missing from the translations!!! And I would know, I speak Manderin (chinese) myself. WHY... WHYYYYYYYY!!!!!!

I soo hate the translator for making the dialogue bland. It's a big deal, since I always read the sub titles so I can get a more indepth grasp of the story than just hearing it alone.

the beginning WAS scary.. but then it turned into a sci fi movie. and the graphics killed the movie...idk....just my opinion
