umm...wtf just happened? this was like a arty type take on horror, not scary and really confusing. not my cup of tea I\'m afraid. I\'ll stick to blood and gore and the \'jump\' factor. :)

I am impressed how they used mirrors on this movie Iam a cameraman and I am still tinking in some shots that I just saw o another rhing I just return from japan and I wenth to kamakura and I went to that temple it really exist

Maybe you should go back to Hollywood horror raven , this kinda thing is obviously too much out of your comfort zone to be appreicated by you.I bet you didnt even watch it all.

I liked it! It was something different and I really liked the last two stories. There are scenes in the story Caterpillar that ALMOST made me gag....enjoy!

I really hope this gets better....I don\'t know wtf Mars Canal is about (or if you can even call that a short film) it was just 5 mins of a naked guy running around a field?!?

lol bella..yea mars canal was weird but i watch so many short films im not surprised by it...i love Tadanobu Asano, hes a great actor, thats the major reason i watched this, not a scary film but its kinda weird if you\'re into that...thanks sada!

I was not impressed with Mars Canal even though I \"got\" it-he is \"stripped\" of all pretensions and finds himself in a desolate Hell of his own making for beating a woman he was supposed to love.
Mirror Hell was ingenious in its use of mirrors and placement of actors making its own statement about art; Caterpillar is not my cup of tea but I certainly can see what all the fuss is about and Crawling Bugs was fun-if you can call rotting corpses and insanity fun.
Most notable is the beautiful camera work; each piece is a work of art. Some was a bit pretentious to me, but art is in the eye of the beholder, isn\'t it?

......eh. It was too jumpy, lacking of tension, and deficient in even the occasional startle or gross graphics for me. I just can\'t even care for the movie at all, I\'m gonna watch another one and get the taste out of my mouth. Just not my cup of tea.

I think Mars Canal is about the duality between the man and the women part in the human body or spirit.

But it doesn\'t show a woman\'s point of view. Even if that were the case, the only thing the film suggests is man is extremely violent and turbulant. Pretty one-sided, don\'t you think?

Being an Artist myself (Although I'm not an insane one) I can truly appreciate the Art of these films ;) I highly recommend this to those who have the concept and imagination to appreciate it. The reason that some do not understand is because they do not know anything about art >.< No offense to them, it's just that it is hard for them to understand, thus they cannot appreciate it. Thank you so much for sharing this

Gross! Where those two guys naked wrestling in the start? to anyone who isn't a woman or a Queer, I suggest skipping the first 7mins.
