i haven\'t watch it but is this movie somehow related to the video game Parasite Eve (rpg) made by Square Soft for the playstation?

xyndi (12/26/2008 @ 6:53 am)
sean miki, the movie was totally not related to the video game. the game was way better than this.i love playin parasite eve.
Yamoon (1/10/2009 @ 5:35 pm)
The game is related to the novel/movie, although the game is some what a spin off of it. The EVEs are basically the same. The event of the movie is also being mention by the japanese doctor (forgot his name).
GltterNDiamond (1/22/2009 @ 10:14 am)
Not bad course I also love the game.
broken_eko (2/7/2009 @ 3:51 pm)
this movie isn\'t really horrific, alot of depth though. makes me want to play the game to compare the differences. the ending theme is a lil annoying though:)

Great game,boring movie.
Akumyo (4/13/2009 @ 3:36 am)
This movie has NOTHING to do with the game. It\'s based on the book Parasite Eve, which came first. The squaresoft game is only very loosely based on the book, which was a huge hit in japan.
SugaEnSpyce (4/15/2009 @ 4:26 pm)
This movie is a classic, i love it...its not really horror but more of science fiction.thanks for the upload!
Danielle/Runningbreeze (5/8/2009 @ 10:01 am)
Nothing special, reminded me of \"the blob,\" there were only a few scenes near the end that reminded me of the game.

ryukitsune (10/4/2009 @ 2:10 pm)

******SPOILER****UnbeliEVEable! *Waited billions of years* *Dead in 1 hour* *Congratulations that sucked ass*

Seriously the movie had good presentation, nice music, different plot, etc. But the ENDING was the most unbelieveably most stupid of all time!******SPOILER****

may not have the best movie around but it was not based on the game and the game itself wasnt an original story, both came from the novel Parasite Eve written by Hideaki Sena

The movie was excellent, and even answered some of my unanswered questions about the game. While very little of the movic can be compared to the game, i found myself reminded of the game at some points. It seems as though the movie was more focused on the novel, whereas the game had a way different storyline. The game and movie did share the same concept and revolved around the same facts, however.
I noticed also that this whole movie was something Maeda mentioned to Aya in one of the chapters [The japanese man who tried to culture his wive's cells] If you played the game on psx, you know what i'm talking about.
Koi (2/19/2010 @ 10:39 am)
I know that part exactly, Maeda says in PE1 "A similar event took place in japan blah blah years ago, a scientist tried to culture his wife's cells." And the book/movie/and games are definitely all connected. because that was a direct reference to the movie.
Koi (2/19/2010 @ 2:06 pm)
Also the lead character Aya in PE (PSX) her mothers name is Mariko. The same as the young girl in the movie.
