Well, I guess I'm not watching the same movie as everyone before me. I thought it was a "B" movie, terrible effects...cheesy is a good word for it! 4/10 I couldn't finish it!

I'd marry any woman called kunti but just for kicks and giggles.
wtf? (5/5/2010 @ 4:32 am)
I must have been watching a different movie than everyone else, I couldn;t even sit through the whole thing. I hate it when they have these weird guys trying to be funny in a horror. It isn't funny or scary, its just stupid. Every time I see that skinny kid with the afro I know it's going to be another bad movie. Don't waste your time with this one. I love every other kind of movie on this site though and am happy just to have it available to me so don;t take it the wrong way, I do appreciate all the effort you guys put into this website. Thank you!

It is rare that I give a movie a poor review, but this is one of them. The ghost is a bit scary at first, but the sound that she makes is downright annoying after a few minutes into the film. Poor acting, which may be intentional. I give it a grade of 2/10. The 2 is for the hot girls!

Admin. Please put "comedy" in the description.
Personally I dislike comedy/horrors. I tried watching for awhile, but it got irritating. Thanks for the upload :)

I LOVE AHM.com....one of the best sites on the net =) This movie though, hard to even give a 1 * rating to. Could not finish this whole thing. Had to move on to another film.

Thanx though!

WHY INDONESIANS HAVE THE WORST HORROR MOVIES:
1. Over using the same “cheap” scare scenes…over and over and over and over again. I don’t know how many times have I seen that scene where a ghost is behind (in front, below, beside, etc.) and when the character turns around (or looks to the side, looks up, looks down, etc), and the ghost disappears….it happens in every horror movies, but Indonesians just milk this scare tactic to its’ bone until it is no longer scary anymore…..and not just in this movie, EVERY Indonesian horror movie milks this tactic to the bone~! Seriously guys…..that’s why Indonesia never became critically acclaimed for its’ horror movies- seriously…

2. One word: BANAL. Always having the same stereotypical characters: the jock, the sexy vixen, the coward, the innocent girl next door, gathered in the stereotypical setting: a college. What is with Indonesians and the fascination with College kids and college campus? Is it really where all the horror takes place in Indonesia?

3. No originality. I am pretty sure #1 and #2 explained it well enough, but to add more: are you guys even coming up with any new makeup for your ghosts? It’s always the same look in every movie- the typical run down, dirty, and boney-ambiguous ghost with nothing much to do but show up every so often only to disappear when the character looks at his/her direction…..SIGH*

I swear watching an Indonesian horror movie is like watching the looping backgrounds in a Hannah-Barbara cartoon-they are all just the same, looping again, and again and again and again and again….

As I'm really interested in kuntilanak/pontianak folklore I've been wanting to watch this for a while - glad there is lots of selection on here! I would give this an 8 out of 10 - (perhaps cos I'm very biased when it comes to pontianak films, I don't know :) ) but I give it an 8 for the bad makeup and acting at times.. Other than that I loved it - I think it is definately more comedy than horror, but an enjoyable, quirky film nonetheless.
