A very deep and profound little film. Definitely a good one!

Advenger!!! (6/19/2010 @ 1:22 am)
Really sad.....but i've got ask why are all Japanese ghost driping wet. hehehe Oh and another thing, do people in Japan own a mop. You never see one used, it's allway's someone pushing around a rag on the floor. That just makes my back hurt thinking about it.
pennywise (6/19/2010 @ 2:52 pm)
its a good short film..
Answer (6/19/2010 @ 4:31 pm)
@Advenger!!! This ghost is wet because he died in the lake..
They have small houses so it is probobly inferior to own a mop..
(6/19/2010 @ 4:55 pm)
@Advenger...Did you even watch the film? How can you not know why the ghost is dripping water?
Kujaku (6/19/2010 @ 5:13 pm)
A wonderful short, even if it's pretty obvious. Well...if you've seen as many jhorror films as I have...^^;
Advenger!!! (6/19/2010 @ 11:58 pm)
WOW........slow down people. first of all i saw the film, and yes it's sad what happened to him but i was talking about Japanese horror film in general, about the ghost's are allway's wet. so calm down, i didn't mean to make anyone mad and second of all, it doesn't mater how big of a place it is in that movie, just about all Japanese movie's i have ever seen have people never using a mop. I can imagine people in Japan use one all the time, you just don't see it in a movie. @noname & Answer i hope that clear's thing's up for you.
Slipndot (6/20/2010 @ 12:07 am)
@Answer and noname, did you even read Advenger!!! comment's or do you just like to start shit where there wasn't a problem to began with. By the way i loved the movie and love AHM.
Mark (6/20/2010 @ 2:32 am)
I can't seem to watch the final part or is it just me cause it's taking too long to load?
@advenger (6/20/2010 @ 3:06 am)
A. why do you use your brain
B. not all ghost are wet you probably havent watched more than 2 movies so stfu
C. no mops untill very very recently and they still dont use mops in traditional houses (this obviously ties in with you having to use your brain)
D. if you dont have a brain to use go shoot yourself
E. dont get all offended when people point out how amazingly stupid you are
sada (ADMIN)
Please try and be nice to fellow AHM members , theres really no need to be rude to people.Advengers comments were just his opinions.Thnx guys
Advenger!!! (6/20/2010 @ 4:30 pm)

carla (6/21/2010 @ 11:28 pm)
grow up ppl i dont even see reasons to get mad, gawd! stupid ppl in the world

p.s. i liked the movie very sad tho
Dark_Misstres (6/22/2010 @ 7:05 pm)
Well...the story is like every japan story of a mother in grief, in horror movies i mean...anyway...slow watch it once in a life 3/10 screamers
Hana (6/23/2010 @ 4:13 am)
This was so sad. ;o;

@Advenger; You shouldn't have to be sorry. People just overreacted. As Sada said, you were just stating you opinion...and I have to agree with you. Lots of JA horror movie ghosts are dripping wet, and no one has a mop. You make a wonderful point, and I'm glad that I'm not the only one who thinks so. XD
Hana (6/23/2010 @ 4:14 am)
LouLou4u (6/23/2010 @ 8:18 am)

First off, this isn't meant to attack anyone, least of all Advenger!!!

I'd simply point out that viewers might have some empathy with the poor, unfortunate mother, who had to keep wiping up all that water from her son's untimely death. No, they didn't have mops then in Japan. That's how they cleaned the floors—with rags, on their hands and knees.

One more thing to Advenger!!!—you didn't do anything wrong, except perhaps misjudge how others might interpret your humor. And that is not a major crime, despite what others have posted. You should not have to apologize.

Nonetheless, it's a pretty good short. I'll admit to not being a good reviewer, and not being able to give others subtleties in my comments. I'll just say, if you like this site, you should be cool with watching this. It's short. It won't take up much of your time.
C@T (6/30/2010 @ 5:25 pm)
WOW! I liked this short and didn't think of it as sad so much (here come the attacks... HaHaHa!). You never mess with a momma's cubs. I'm a mum and I'd have to be put in a straight jacket/locked up to keep me from going after anyone who lays a finger on my kids, even if my kiddos were adults. Don't think I'm spoiling anything when I say I think this short is more about peace of mind. Maybe I'm looking too deep, but that's my opinion. Watch it from a different point of view.

@Advenger!!!, I got what you were saying. Does look uncomfortable to clean floors like that. Makes my back hurt, too. That was a lot of water, a tiny rag, and no place to ring it out.

Thanks for the upload and, as always, Admin, YOU DA BOMB!!!
Trace (7/3/2010 @ 7:58 am)
Hey Advenger...I totally got you and what you meant. Geesshh @ people!! If your opinion doesn't jive with others opinions then they seem to make it personal... sooooo IMMATURE!!! I'm glad to see Sada stepped in and nailed it by saying... GIVE RESPECT TO ALL MEMBERS! If everyone thought or did the same thing wouldn't life be boring? Come ON people!! I also back what CE said... YOU DON'T have to APOLOGIZE!!! anyways...advenger...big hugs dude! I appreciate ALL allows me to decide whether I'm going to watch or not watch a movie and I appreciate all humor whether dry or wet...(smirks)
HaitiPI (7/6/2010 @ 6:21 am)
@Advenger!!! and all

I first was a little ruffled at Advenger's comments, but when one puts one's tongue in one's cheek, one would see that there was a little jab at some of cinematic cliches seen in J=Horror, at least in Advenger's perspective. I often see similar comments referring to the "wild eyed long haired angry female ghost", which is not only a not to Japan's most famous classical ghost story "Yurei", but also describes my wife (except she is Thai) when she is really mad.

SADA is right, not only because he moderates this site, but let's leave the going to on line forums just to insult other people to YouTube, and leave to those of us who just love Asian Horror Movies as they are, cliches and all.

PS: We have a mop at my house and a carpet shampooer machine, but my wife still cleans the spills on the carpet and kitchen floor with rags. I still love my wife AND my Asian Horror Movies. Anybody have a problem?
HaitiPI (7/6/2010 @ 6:45 am)
Now, I would like to comment one the movie and will touch on the mopping issue. So , there is some SPOILER ALERT here.

It is obvious that the mother is very devoted to her son. By her getting down on her hands and knees to mop up the water, which is directly related to her son's death, we are seeing one of the expressions on her love, loss, and devotion.

Those of you who saw "The Passion of the Christ" would have seen a similar devotional mopping. In that film, while Christ was being flogged at the pillars, Pontius Pilate's wife, Claudia, gives Mary a small stack of Linens. After Jesus is taken away, Mary goes down to her knees and begins to lovingly mop up the precious blood with the linens.

Or maybe I am just looking to deep into this.

@ HaitiPl:
Good observation!
Twisted_Intentions (8/24/2010 @ 7:23 pm)
Can't STOP laughing @ Advenger's comment and how FAST some people over-react.... Ohh, itz just a mop, don;t have to be so touchy! And yes, I agree @ Advenger's, Hana's, HaitiPI, C@T, etc.... Good on ya guys for being so jolly and don't take things seriously and yes... I always wondered why do the floors get cleaned with a rag instead of a mop, and it gives me a backache too!!

And lastly, A huge THANKS to AHM and Sada for being such good people and feeding our appetite for horror movies.... Now it just makes my day when I get to watch a horror flick and you guys ROCK for uploading newbies too!!!
