Highly enjoyed this movie. It just goes to show that no one really wants to die alone and you can\'t fix crazy.

Alrighty, after a long time of avoiding HongKong horror (cuz of lameness and inconsistency as well as lack of scare factor), my wife and i decided to give this a try (cuz of others giving a high rating.) but the fact is, that this movie is NOT as good as other mainstream horror (esp. korean or thai, or even jap [which has also gone down the ladder cuz of frequent use of cliche`s in the genre now]

Anyyyyways. now for a review: original storyline at first, hangs around at the beginning and drags a bit with seemingless unnecessary scenes. NOT scary. NOT creepy. then after 15:30 of the 2nd part, everything became SOOOOOOOO typical HongKong horror; including the cliche` dim blue and dim green lighting usage, pitch dark rooms and frequent close-ups of the actor\\actress being frightened (which is also supposed to creep you out but ultimately FAILS to do even that). and an ending that wanted to be a bigbang twist that also FAILED horribly.

my rating 2.5/10. re-wrap: NOT scary, NOT creepy, original storyline, but fails to develop into anything significant or even acceptable.

the ending tried to make it into a psychological explanatory movie referring to the beginning where she asked the guy *do i know u?* and in the middle *do i know u?* and at the end *do i know u?* a cunning trick from other movies which wrapped up their movies pretty well but used unbelievably innappropriately in this movie. and i must say that if they excluded it, i would have 1 less thing to criticize about this movie. for instance, how would that even make sense if the guy existed throughout the whole movie and suddenly he is only a figment of her imagination? even if he DID die and become a manifestation of her psycho state, at least show us a hint as to WHEN he died. the lack of this only proves the failure of the ending. horrible. -_-

yes, the soundtrack of the blood-donation scene was not just a rip of the ENDING of Requiem for a Dream (Lord of the Rings: Two Towers trailer soundtrack) but is actually a rip off of the WHOLE ENTIRE soundtrack of Requiem for a Dream. they only modified it so that certain key tones were altered into opposite key tones (low into high and vice versa). i pointed it out to my wife and distracted us from watching the movie XD (and im glad i did because it wasnt a good one afterall -.-*)

I think it\'s because Joy\'s eyes were different.
At first I was a bit confused too why the nurse screamed when Joy looked at her.
So, I had to rewind and look real close.
Her eyes were the same as the ghost.

These days, every one have super contact lense, I myself have serveral pairs of strange ones. eg. cat like(bright yellow ones, when at night they shine against the light), sun flower like, white (those ones just like what she was wearing), etc.

So, the nurse should at least find her after she ran away, or call for security or something :p

ya that part is understandable, with the nurse screaming because she saw the eyes of Joy as ghastly eyes, but the confusing and nonsensical part would be how and when did ERIC die? there is no scene showing this occurrance. and if they wanted to say the whole thing was made up in Joys little mind and that it never happened, then it would be totally BS to be watching 1.5 hours of a make-belief movie only to show the she killed someone cuz shes a psycho on the loose.

Even this possible theoretical explanation is flawed because its fact now that the nurse saw her eyes as ghastly. so her being psycho as the reason for killing is out of the window, along with the imagination of Erics existence in that way. so as a result, for SURE Eric existed then. so when did he die??? never shown. he just. died. like a nobody. some movie set extra would have gotten a better and detailed death scene than eric in this way.... >_>
