Priest Kau is engaged to perform a reburial for a deceased rich man. Together with his inept disciples Man Choi and Tsau Tsang , Kau discovers that the corpse is still almost intact and looks alive.

They attempt to prevent the corpse from rising but they fail and the corpse becomes a Jiang Shi (Chinese "hopping" vampire).The vampire runs amok and kills many people. Kau leads his disciples on a brave attempt to destroy the vampire. You need a Frames Capable browser to view this content.

fantastic movie...i remember this one from when I was a kid,it won awards for choreography amongst other things...prepare to laugh...quality upload from the quality staff..

This one is a sure-fire winner in terms of comic delight! Heck, just the guys eyebrows alone are sure to elicit gales of laughter! The hopping vampires are just a bonus! Trust me, this one is a must-see for fans of Chinese horror.

I just don\'t get why the vampires hop???? How could you not outrun a hopping vampire unless your 80 years old? If you have nothing else to watch then it\'s an ok movie.

LMRuiz- I read somewhere that the reason the vampires hop is because corpses would have their feet bound together to keep them from running after you if they did return from the dead. As for outrunning them, of course you can, that's why the movie is funny, not scary!

It's a good movie .. But I couldn't watch this movie .. It said that veoh player is not longer available in Thailand . And I live in Thailand ..So if it is ok for the admin , I wish to change the player . For I want to watch this movie so much :'(. Thanks for the upload :'(

the reason they hop is cause their whole body hardens when they turn(into vampires of course, duh) so walking normally would be kind of impossible. and its kinda hard to run away from something that hops 3-4 strides. that means u gotta run at least 3 steps before they hop once.
