The worst part is the fact that this is base upon actual events. According to many of the reviews i\'ve read, not only are the tortures depicted here historicly accurate, but there were many even sicker happenings that this movie didn\'t show.

Evil comes in many forms and period of time. I bet this film show the worst part of the human\'s mind. hurting another fellow human being without having a little thought about, what if you were the victim, in my view if you can\'t feel that, then you ain\'t human, consider yourself a beast.

In many ways I\'m glad the video had been removed.

I am so disappointed that u guys removed the movie..That is not fair just some Softy viewers complained and u had to remove it. U already warned them ***WARNING Contains Graphic violence and Extreme Gore 18 ++***...What more do they need. Asian-Horror-Movies is all about horror,sick movies. Many people enjoy the adrenaline rush. and if u can\'t provide that then u don\'t deserve the name. \"Men behind the Sun\" deserves to be seen so please put it back and ignore the softies u have already warned them.

FYI we didnt actually remove this Movie, initially the host we had it on removed it and we recently replaced it on another host which can be a bit unreliable, but the movie is here.

watched it and feel sick, couldn\'t sleep, had to think what if...it happens again and your daughter or wife with your child is under those perverts in such a camp wherever whenever? It doesn\'t matter what nationality. It is terrible.

Hmmm....guess I\'m just one sick individual because I found this movie to be tame. I have seen far worse in my opinion. However, all in all I really enjoyed the movie!

i also saw a lot gore and so one but this movie shocked me in a way and it was not the lousy special effects. This was harmless. Just have a look at utube and hear what the still living members of unit 731 have to say. I believe the Head of 731 was not a monster at all he was a heartless scientist thats all. And that was scary. All of the People around were puppets. Fear seduced all of them. If you say something, well perhaps your family next..then you. Nice really...

I have this on DVD and what a great film hope they put the 2rd one on as its so hard to get I have all the other but none as sick as this film....

It is not only a good/dramatic story but it is also history and i dont think it should be denied because some people might find it to be \"too icky\". also i think it is hypocritical to come to watch this movie and leave a comment saying people shouldnt watch it. the loading is slow and everytime pops out an ad or it loads another video with a russian(?) guy talking. i would ask to the admin if he could use the megavideo stream to watch the movie.

In all your collection, this one comes the closest to true horror, because it\'s about the depth that human depravity can sink, and because it is true. What so many innocent Chinese suffered because of Shiro Ishii and his colleagues is truly monstrous. I am ashamed to admit that the U.S. cut deals with these freaks to enhance their own bio-weapons programs, rather than execute them.

This happened and I wouldn´t have the guts to \"help\" science in that way, I can only imagine the many uses (good & bad ones) of those kind of experiments, but I can´t picture the oh so many reasons to stand there immutable while someone shouts their soul out. Which data worths that?

Good movie over-all, but I do not see why in any form this is rated NC-17. This, in my personal opinion, is more like a PG-13 at the most. Yes, medical experiments were shown and yes, they did go on in the 40s in many countries....but it is all just a matter of war when it comes down to it.

It is astonishing that horror isn\'t just special effects & fantasy but that these atrocities are committed by actual \"humans\"...the nazis were doing a lot more of the same things during this very same time period & in fact, communist China is second to top-of-the-list Hitler of these war crimes committed during the 20th century. The catch is how much do we benefit from these horrendous experiments? It would shock the average person who doesn\'t think about where certain medical procedures and medicines originated from.
