Woot, this was the granddaddy of Japanese Horror for American Audiences! I saw this on late night TV in New York on \"Chiller Theater\" as a kid. It made me love Japanese Horror films! Thank you for putting it on! Creepy and Cheesy at the same time, just remember it a totally 60s movie, with the adherent sensibilities.

Wonder if it was ever on MST?

It SHOULD have been on MST. Im just not into monster movies, but if you are it is a classic.

Not bad at all. Thought from the comments it would be unwatchable, but there are actually some pretty creepy moments. Bearing in mind of course what dragon82a says about 60\'s sensibilities. The story hangs together fairly well I thought, but I couldn\'t keep the characters straight. Thought the special effects were pretty good too.

Vince, I have that problem with almost every Asian movie I watch. It isn\'t that the characters are hard to distinguish so much as it is that I have a hard time connecting names to faces right away when it comes to these languages.

I wind up mixing up characters that look alike a decent enough amount of the time, too, though.

Wow. That\'s a wonderful gun. Never have to reload and seemingly unlimitted ammo!

Now, would you eat the mushrooms?
