This movie is very hard to find and worth a watch if you like strange dolls and trashy japanese Weirdness Marronnier might be French for chestnut tree, but it's Japanese for twisted karaoke video- doll-slasher-movie.

Styled to feel like a horror manga, the film speeds through vignettes of violence, unintentional non-sequiturs, abstract characterization, bizarro conversations and stilted puppet animation with cheesy horrific abandon.

i liked it, it was... well a movie.
Who was the guy that was drawing in the forest and then drives her?? i thougt it was Junji Ito cuz the girl in the draw resembled her characters in manga, also the evil guy made me remember the weirdo at the beggining of uzumazi, all crazy and with eyes that almost say -uuuh look how i look at youu- i think it could only get weirder...
dont know if its a SPOILER.......but when was it that she became a doll the time when he put her in the red machine?? or after?? or before??

Junji Ito is brilliant I really liked Uzumaki as well as Tomie and other works he is sooooooo weird got to love it!!!

This looks a bit like Chucky...i chucked every one of my dolls after i watched it...hmmm should i really watch it?
p.s I love spoilers and if anyone's reading this than don't feel guilty about putting in spoilers cause there's a chance that i might come across them^_^

It was entertaining, a gem for all the wrong reasons. The movie was creepy, hilarious and WTF at the same time. Is that the sound of epicness I hear? XD
