Anyway... this movie is awful! Not too bad of a movie, but just plain awful as far as all of the dirty rotten things people can do.

Makes you feel like watching a comedy or something. Anything but more people killing each other! Ahhhh!!!

This is the best movie I\'ve seen in a long time. Its not a scary or gory horror, like my usual faves. The main character was very sexy when she was all bad ass. If there are any movies out there like this one...I\'d love to watch them all. :) One of my faveourites, definately worth watching. Enjoy. 9/10

excellent film... not easy to appreciate such great work of art. touching and emotional. some might say it is slow, but that is because that is what they think of themself. surely, this is one of many great films. ****1/2 :)

Pretty good. Came together towards the end but i kinda think it lacked depth and character development. Pretty much a straight forward vengeance movie, I mean \"Sympathy for lady vengeance\" you can kinda predict the whole plot just from the title, in the end she gets vengeance... the only thing that kept me interested was how she went about it.

David, comedy is for people who can\'t stand reality.
Gore and revenge are for people who know the boundaries of humanity and - rather than going out to hack off their bosses heads - watch amazing movies with characters who do it for them.

i think it\'s a great movie. no too many american directors give you something to really watch anymore! its all blood,guts,and gore which is cool sometimes but damn not all the time. for those of you who tought is was dumb stop hatin\' and next time you wanna watch some bs movie, go look up rob zombie now thats some damn garbage! other than that keep ya mind open. ignorance is played out lol.

I really enjoyed this movie and hope that Quentin Tarintino can bring it to america. I honestly believe he is one of the very few directors that bring this film justice. The Asians sure have alot to teach us about storytelling and we really need 2 take note instead of making bullshit like the Ring the Grudge and few other movies the originals were so much better we should be ashamed

hi there, i\'m doing a dissertation on the vengeance trilogy and i\'m curious for peoples opinions on what kind of genre you think this film should fit into? i believe Mr vengeance is a contemporary tragedy, oldboy is a neo-noir... but this one is a little more difficult to categorise due its stronger visual surrealism.

very good. but after watching the vengeance trilogy i still think that Oldboy is the best, it fills you with so many different emotions has awesome twists, of course the other two were excellent also :)

umm ... i guess the ending sort of symbolizes although she set out and achieved her goal she still isn\'t satisfied. particularly with the part where she told jenny to live white (pure). i don\'t think geum ja believed she could live white, too, maybe that\'s why she buried her face in the cake and cried.

Amazing 10 on the emotional scale, Entire movie 6 or 7 just because it really didn't hit me as hard as sympathy for Mr vengeance

Very Sad, and very funny in parts. The bit with the parents of the dead children dressing up in slickers before hacking at the kidnapper/murderer. The group photograph was a nice touch.

Gadd , what a slow movie ! But still, it's one of the best bloody movies I've seen. Good work ! I like Lee Young-Ae's acting ! Excellent !
