this movies does not fail to shock you.. pretty good plot... some absurdity.. violence.. and comical inmates will keep you interested through the whole movie..

this is not the full version of the movie, it cuts off when there is about 10 minutes left in the film...if you go to youtube you can watch the ending there type in Sympathy for Lady Vengeance 11/12 w/eng subs and it will lead you back into the movie

A MUST WATCH!! superb story, very good cast.. not actually horror but a lot of surprising scenes. you\'ll love the final part..Im glad this movie is back coz I think they removed it once and its now complete until the ending. 9.5/10

My fav movie and i have it on dvd also i\'ve seen sympathy for Mr. Vengance but its not that good though...Long live K-Movies...not romance i hate romance....and also u must see memories of a murder...Good plot and nice going...

The whole trilogy of Sympathy for Mr.Vengeance, Oldboy & Sympathy for Lady Vengeance is truly stunning. These films alone have made me fall in love with Korean movies. Definitely will go watch Memories of a Murder now, have not seen it yet but hear very good things.

This is one of my favorite films. I wouldn\'t catagorize it as horror but it\'s enthralling and interesting with a great plot that doesn\'t try to be so complicated that it\'s full of holes and you get lost. I bought the dvd immeditely after seeing the film. 10/10

Great movie! At first you are unsure of where the movie is going: How could a beautiful young woman be so cruel and evil so as to kill a young boy? As the story unfolds you learn much about the main character and her true motivations, and her final goal she has planned for 13 years while in prison.
I really liked this move, alot.

So twisted, so evil, so emotionally draining... so gooooooood! loved this one thanx for posting it ^_^

I do love this movie, alon with Mr. Vengeance and Oldboy. I would have to say Oldboy was the ebst of the 3 vengeance movies.

Loved this movie. I got a little lost in Mr. Vengeance, but I still loved that one as well. I think the Vengeance trilogy has replaced my love for the Kill Bill trilogy. Great movies! And anyone who says they didn\'t like it because there are \"fat girls\" in it, well, needs to have their head bashed in.

hi there, i\'m doing a dissertation on the vengeance trilogy and i\'m curios for peoples opinions on what kind of genre you think this film should fit into? i believe Mr vengeance is a contemporary tragedy, oldboy is a neo-noir... but this one is a little more difficult to categorise due its stronger visual surrealism.

This is an excellent film, definitely one of my favourites. It's nice to see female characters portrayed so excellently, when they frequently fall flat in western films. There's an inspired streak of black humour that runs right the way through this, not to mention violence that is beautifully handled and in no way exploitative (a feature in all of Park Chan-Wook's films).

Note how any one who reviewed it poorly typed "liek dis"
I found it really rather ironic that one person that called the film "stupid" spells and constructs sentences like a retarded chimpanzee.
