Holy... sh*t!! I was waiting to see this movie for years and it was worth the wait... though it had its flaws, it still ROCKED!! Great prequel, and WAAYY easier to follow than the first one... damn... 9/10

that was amzing, not as good as the first but it was still really good. last fight scene is awesome the endings kind of baffling like the first ichi lol

this movie is one of my favorites but i like the anime and the first ichi the killer better but this one is okay because they explain how he becomes a killer. ichi with his strong leg nobody can really beat him. unless u talk about super heroes

Takashi Miike is not the author of this movie. And it`s pretty obvious. Plot, camera and directing is amateurish and unbelivebly stupid.

What a surpirsingly good film! I was a little dubious about watching a prequel especially as it wasnt directed by Takashi Miike! The storyline was very good, I wasn't so sure about the choice of shots and pans sometrimes but otherwise it brought itself over quite well!

I love love love Nao Omori as Ichi and I'm glad they filled in some of the blanks!

And as a girly side note: Oh my gosh how gorgeous is Teah who plays Mr. Dai!!???

Would reccomend to anyone! A good watch!

LOL you make it sound like the original Ichi the Killer wasn't "some damn pervert shit". C'mon man- it had a nipple cutting scene and Ichi was cumming from watching violence and killing people just like in this one. Remember the first scene form Ichi the Killer? What did you think was the gooey stuff on that plant in the first scene? BTW - they used real sperm :D
