I think this is better than the movie, because the anime show more bloody and sadistic scenes and there are 2 seasons!!! XD

Hahahaha, ohhhhh Higurashi. I love this anime, hahaha. I\'m really upset about Season 3 [Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei] but this anime is worth watching. [The end/Resolution was a huge dissapointment, by the way.] 7/10. [Would have been a 10/10 without the ending.]

I don\'t get why they call the live action \"Shrill cries of summer\" on this site.
It\'s \"When Cicadas Cry\" or something like that >_>
Anyway, to my opinion, the anime is wáy better then the Live Action movie.
The way the characters act in the Live Action are really different than in the anime.

Oh and btw, for the people who don\'t know it yet: The anime was BEFORE the Live action, what means that the Live action movie just is wrong if something is different. :l

i remember watching this about 2 years ago. never seen an anime playing ones mind like that. got me psyched at 2am :D.
reminds me of those anime games were u choose how the story evolves and end up watching most of the time.
