Haven't watched this yet, but for some reason I've never been able to get the comments (or forum) section to work for me so just thought I'd try again. And yes, I'm using Firefox.

Mainly wanted to say how much my wife and I appreciate your site. We are both disabled and I am pretty much bedridden. Surviving on disability pay (not much), your site is a godsend. Mostly outstanding movies, and we watch almost every night. Wish we could afford to donate, but times are super tough right now -- especially with a teenage daughter to raise.

Again, kudos to all of you; it's the very best movie site on the net! Keep up the good work.

Nana is from a jdrama called " 1 liter of tears " if im not mistaken. and i am shocked that she was the lead here.

for the movie here's my comment
this is not a pure scare type, for those who wants all horror this movie may not suit your taste, the movie was intriguing that keep the viewers sticked on the movie. i was expecting more for the ending but didn't deliver that much. all in all i enjoyed another great night w/ this site, thanks to the new uploads. i give it a 3/5 no, make it 4 for erika sawajiri! :D

I am truly grateful to AHM that I get to watch a lot of great movies for free on this site, but I won't be able to be as eloquent as FlatDaddy was in expressing how appreciative I am of the great work you do. There are numerous classic movies here... Only one comment deserves the same tag -- FlatDaddy's...

Not a bad watch. Did anyone notice that the school is called Miskatonic University? Those of you familiar with the writer H.P. Lovecraft will recognize this school. Remember Arkham Asylum from Batman? Same source. There is also a subtle reference to the "Old Ones". (;,;)

Omg! Erika Sawajiri!! I LOVED 1 Litre of Tears. If you haven't seen it, watch it (just be prepared to cry.. xD). Amazing actress. just had to get my excitement out xD Now, to watch the movie! I hope its good!!

I started to watch this movie on Tue and finished it today Thur. What I did not notice was the date on the boys ticket was 17/8/10 and they write day first then month and year last so needless to say I was freaked out. Hope its not like one missed call and I will die in seven days cuz i watched this movie on that date. what are the odds.....only in horror baby!!!!!!

Man that Nana was hot! Oh and that was awesome to see a J-horror taking part in the Cthulu Mythos! I think its the first one I've noticed. But hey the Japanese seem to have a thing for tentacles and Lovecraft is the High Priest of the Tentacle. As soon as I saw the ad for Miskatonic University, I knew where this was headed.

For those of you who think its unusual for a J-horror to have a happy ending, its even more unusual for Mythos stories to have one. I mean Characters might survive, but that is not the best possible outcome, because they usually live in a state of constant fear and madness after that, and one can imagine they become suicidal. Truly wonderful, I hope this movie gets seen more in America, or at least revamped for a western audience, I think it would become an instant cult classic.
P.S., by revamped I only mean done in English, as far as I'm concerned everything from setting to actors should stay, though sadly, I don't think it will be possible :(

Great movie kept me wondering what was going to happen next!! Loved the Train Driver and how he wasnt going to over look it again!! Some times we need to remember to close up bad things when we let them out or others will get tore up by the evil!!!
