Very nice... worth watching.. love the twist of the story... not horror but its a suspense kinda movie.
Katy (9/13/2009 @ 5:33 am)
That was pretty kewl how it ended even if it was still sort of messed up. Thanks so much again >.
Tony (9/13/2009 @ 7:41 am)
Someone explain the ending. Can\'t find any other info on google, cause the title \"The Game\" makes the searches results difficult to find.
Pancake (9/13/2009 @ 10:56 am)
Cool!
Thanks for this one!
@Tony - The other title of this movie is \"The Devil\'s Game\".
Kay (9/13/2009 @ 4:59 pm)

dee (9/13/2009 @ 9:53 pm)
please explain the ending...i dont get it
LouLou4u (9/14/2009 @ 3:05 am)
@ dee\'s comment; I didn\'t get the end either...kinda sucked. Who was he in the end? Old self? And what was up with the dr. playing games on him? I would of given it a 10/10 but cuz of the bad ending 7/10
Rachel (9/14/2009 @ 7:16 am)
SPOILER!!!

ok, the doc said that he was playing games too and he picked up his son on purpose. But how did he make the old man dial the number of the boy´s cel, if in the game, they choose the numbers themselves?
The movie itself is wonderful but it can´t be compared with the masterpiece Oldboy, which has a REAL SURPRISING ENDING, where everything is explained!

I really enjoyed this movie. Interesting storyline and some sad parts too. Since nobody answered the last call, I don\'t know who actually won the game. And the young guy still had habits from the old guy in the end. Still thanks for a great movie!!!!

an almost excellent movie..however, the writer made a very big plot hole, I guess he just wanted to add a twist in the end since everyone like twist, but it FAILED..

SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!

obviously, he(the original old man) won the game again and got the young man\'s memory. but the revelation of the doctor at the end does\'nt make sense since the game had a random-phone number rule making it impossible for him to direct the call to the young man. The movie did not explain about the old man having a son or other relatives which could have been a very important part of the story(not to mention the young man has an uncle who doesn\'t know if he is adopted or has a rich father).

So for those who seeks for an answer about the twist of the story, it\'s quite impossible to explain it since the movie lacks a lot of important details. But the movie is not that mind-twisting as other korean movie. 7/10

Nice one..

*Spoiler*

Huido is Gang Nosik\'s son. The phone call that Huido received at the start of the movie is actually plotted, his number was intentionally dialed and not randomly selected (as how the true game is played). Remember Huido\'s first customer, actually that was Gang Nosik, perhaps spying on Huido, seeing to himself that Huido is really physically fit for a body exchange. And the doctor was the one who actually chose Huido for the game. Everything was preplanned, and Huido was deceived. The only thing that Gang Nosik did not know is that Huido is his son.
CyreneQ (3/20/2010 @ 5:09 pm)
It was good until the very end where the doctor tried to explain everything.

Spoiler:

When the memory switched at the end, Huido will win either way because his memory is transferred to his original body.

I don't think they should have put the doctor's explanation in the end. It just confused everyone. They should have stopped when the guy was smoking.

Ugh.... I wanted to watch "The host" but the link isn't working v.v

I Found This On Another Site About The Ending I Hope It Helps =]
--------------------------
Huido was Gang's son whom he probably had abandoned when Huido was young. The Doctor and Huido come up with a plan to steal all of Gang's money(through the bet).

Huido is named the owner of all of Gang's property and Company(in the first transplant Huido with Gang's brain).

They decide to bet one more time for the memory of Huido, but we come to know that the Doctor and Huido were in it all along.

Huido smoking the cigar at the end was to show us that he actually was Gang's son(he had some of his father's characteristics).
