This wonderful sequel to the truly horrible Evil Death Trap is in a word - amazing! There is a much matured deeper sense of purpose and the quiet and frequent introspection is much appreciated. The symbolism can at times become overwhelming, though you needn\'t recognize and understand it all during the first view, since you can re-view key parts. Part of figuring out Evil Death Trap II requires that you watch Evil Death Trap. The ending to Evil Death Trap II lays everything bare, what a revelation! Again, amazing, don\'t miss out on this one.

This was a load of crap. Everybody looked the same, the skinny girls looked like the same skinny girl, and the big girls looked like the same big girl. For me the same people kept dieing over and over . I couldn\'t tell who was who and when I think I figured out who died they showed that person alive on the next scene!!!! as stupid as number one was, it was way better than this one. 4/10 The third installment is clear enough to follow1!!!

I went into this film expecting an exploitation-style otaku-for-her and was pleasantly surprised by way of the contrary. For as admittedly ghastly as are much of the acts of violence, the filmmakers succeeded wonderfully in somehow making it look somehow beautiful. I\'m thinking specifically here of the fight scene between the two female leads with the white \"curtains\" providing wonderful contrast to the bloodshed. I can\'t think of a comparable genre in my country to compare with this. It is no mean feat to successfully inject a psycho killer / gore film with enough symbolism and outstanding camerawork and choreography to leave the viewer with the feeling that he or she just experienced some wonderfully violent art film wrought with psychological complexity and morally ambiguous characterization. The film succeeds on many levels but stands highest as an unexpected achievement in genre subversion.
