Gotta disagree with all the raves, sorry. It seems they had a pretty good budget for this, and the acting was great, but the story was pretty yeeesh... Good special effects. It\'s a shame the story didn\'t make any sense, and the way they tried to wrap it all together at the end, well, that stunk.

Eventhough I guessed who the killer was, this was still a good movie!

Like this movie,poor girl Ji-Won. Getting good grade by money is so cheap, unacceptable, how loser, shame on them, feel no sorry for their deaths.Also, Mr.Lee and Mr.Kim, with their behaviour I think they became teachers by mistake. Shame on whatever schools have that kind of teachers.Why there are many horror movies talking about bad things happen in Korean schools, are they for real? How lame.

Awesome. Makes my must watch list. Some of the ending bits during wrap up I wasn\'t so sure I understood - but I still understood the soryline itself (if that makes any sense)

And the scene between daughter and father with the credits - oh my freakin funny! Classic, just classic. 5/5 for being original, well paced, and exceptionally acted by all.

You ppl are amazing in your imbecilic praise, i\'ve seen episodes of tom and jerry that had more realism and made far more sense. 2 bereaved homicidal parents detain an entire faculty and their students, one minute its a ghost killing ppl using feats like disappearing and reappearing, supernatural strength etc. and then u find out that 2 insane yet very human ppl are behind the killings. somehow the father of the wife is not investigated after the sluaghter and is allowed to redo the assault at a following remembrance of the slain. Are u ppl daft? this movie made no sense whatsoever... shame on u. I can\'t even blame the koreans they make crap like this all the time, the product of an imbalanced culture likely.

Its a horror movie after all, not a historical drama or base upon factual event therefore realistic interpretation isn\'t a factor. I got obsessed with this film and I\'ve been thinking about it all day. nI didn\'t really even like it but still there\'s some cool stuff going on here. Didn\'t get the plot or anything much and the ghost-stuff doesn\'t go with anything and the thing that disturbed me the most was the lack of panic, cos if something like this really happened, there would be a lot more panic and here people were just too calm. It was a good movie even if I didn\'t like it (if that makes any sense ^^;). I\'ll also say to zeropro, don\'t attack a whole country because you don\'t like their movies.

The movie is OK, but the director goes way over the top with special effects, and the camera work sucks.
Half the tme when the action kicks in, the camera is off doing its own routine. Pretty poor production value.

Wow...this film was just brilliant. I like how you can figure out the end throughout the movie, and how with a little suspicion in the right direction it is possible to. Just incredible story writing, not really scary, but a suspense filled mystery. Very enjoyable and slighlty unnerving.

great movie. haha cool my captcha had the word \"saw\" in it, like the americanmovie. i remember running into this movie while watching Boys Over Flowers, Gu Jun Pyo and Jan Di were watching it. when i looked up the movie, i realized that one of the actors in the k-drama was actually in it - Kim Bum. When i saw the first 1/2 of the movie on youtube, i saw that most of the comments were made by BOF fans, almost all saying that they were watching the movie bcuz cutie Kim Bum was in it lol. anyways, pretty good ^^

after like watching it for the third time i FINALLY get why that boy got all mentally freaky.

Jiwon\'s ghost was in Ina, like she left a part of herself in Ina. And since he witnessed Jiwon\'s death, he\'s the only one who can actually see the ghost. Which is why he keeps trying to kill Ina. Cause all he sees is Jiwon. Poor girl. :/

And the freaky lady eating ramyun in the end with the dad is the mom who has been living under the school; where she, unfortunately, can\'t take a bath. ><

LOL at the ramyun scene. the wrap-up of flashbacks explain everything really explained nothing. too bad.

this movie is more of a psychological/thriller than a horror...anyways a good movie to watch.one of the best movies to watch from the hundreds in this site. 7/10

Just would like to point out that while yes, this is a korean horror movie, this is not a good example of what K-horror is. If you want to watch some Korean horror movies that can scare you shitless while maintaining their "Korean-ness," you should watch "A Tale of Two Sisters," "Hansel and Gretel," "The Quiet Family," "Cello," "Antarctic Jounral," "Loner," "Doll Master," "Say Yes," and "Acacia."

Death Bell is pretty much just a bunch of western-inspired bullshit.
