Pretty good movie. The dialog is rather cringe-worthy, but a zombie movie is still a zombie movie, and worthwhile.

@PhilGraham- you are absolutely right. I think this is probably the worst Japanese horror film that I've ever seen. The story & dialogue were atrocious.
Capcom should stick with making games.

*sigh* I really don't know where to begin with this one. I've been told that in such situations it may help to elaborate on the *better* aspects of the film first. Well, the title certainly reminds me of the game, which I had a blast playing as I took on a never-ending zombie buffet with a chainsaw and fire ax as my main cuisine.. However, this macabre and anal excuse for a video-game adaptation film does nothing but make me wish I were wasting my time with the actual game instead.

To put it simply, everything is done *wrong* in this movie. The acting is laughable at best, the story is non-existent, the dialog is tedious and drags on too long, and as I've mentioned before it really bears no resemblance to the game AT ALL. In the game you've got a pretty decent plot and an ultimate goal you must achieve, but most people remember killing thousands of the undead in a number of ridiculous ways such as running them over with a tricycle or beating them with stuffed animals. Of course traditional means of killing were present as well like baseball bats, swords, and guns. This poor excuse for a film takes everything good about the game and performs a bathroom lobotomy on it with a $3 shower head.. We can do nothing but watch in terror as everything we enjoyed about the game drips out from the shower head onto the filthy marble floor.

Also, while on the subject of "Terror," I felt they only mentioned the name "Terror is Reality" just because they were desperate to say, "hey guys, look! It is based on the game lulz!" Well, that and the use of Zombrex as well.. It's also worth mentioning that unlike the game where the characters we played as were at least likable, the numb, lifeless paper-bag actors we're forced to endure here is just torture. For whatever reason, the director thought it'd be a good idea to follow a self-loathing handicap named "Shin" who's just an absolute bore of a character. The whole entire film he spends his time complaining and moaning about useless garbage and how he's so fragile and weak.. It gets old, fast. In addition to this, a large portion of the movie takes place in first-person from the eyes of the melodramatic cripple himself. This is bad enough but it's worsened by the horrid fact that they have this God Awful "fish eye camera" effect they spam far too often.

Long wall of text, so for those too lazy to read here'd a tl;dr version, it sucked. The plot was almost non-existent, the acting was piss poor (seriously, I've seen more emotion come out of a brown paper bag for cryin' out loud), the dialog is tedious and drags on too long, the characters are unlikable and rather dull, and lastly, it has as much to do with the game as "Shawn of the Dead."

Stay away unless you want an alternative to cutting yourself. Personally I'd rather just take the razor, it'll be far less painful. Props to Sada and the admins for the upload, though. ;)

Not Bad at all

Fun movie, nice to be able to look at something and unwind. no over thinking something that does not need over thinking. if I did not like it I would just say I did not like it without going into details or fan disdain.

The movie was good, but the Dub cracks me up, it turns it into comedy for me HAHAHAHA

I got about halfway through then had to change sites... Don't watch it on Novamov trust me... every 5 seconds it plays a commercial that you have to go and mute so you can hear the video... whoever invented the cycling ads with sound needs to die a horrible death...

i love zombie films but this one sucks so much that i just wanna stop watching zombie films. the dub is so lame it's better to watch without sounds.

This movie was funny too me and it was sort of nice and relaxing in a way. As Helel said i like to watch movies like this and not try to over think something like this i hate when people try to turn into movie critics and bash it down its a waste of time and energy just at least try to appreciate the movie geez btw that pissed me off at the end! :P
