most of the horror remakes are from asia and OMG we don\'t have to like the movie but just instead be proud of it \'coz pipol from \"there\" try soooo hard to level the \"horror\" sense which asians got naturaly nyahahha!

It was just ok . not so scary for me. but it had a nice twist towards the end of it with the actress. some creepy moments but not enough for me to say it was good. and one scene I think they stole from the movie shutter in the parking lot with the backpack. not too original but check it out you might like it.

i really liked the way they used the movie within a movie(esp the bit where he uses his mobile phone)and i have always found films set in movie theatres very spooky
however thats this films problem its more spooky than scary.but still uses the big screen to great effect to produces an effect take on snuff and how we watch horror films

Holy crap, this was excellent! Not only actually scary enough to give me a coupla jumps, but just very well made. And, I might mention, the actress playing Som was not only good, but ultra hot. I wish the ending had been a tad different but oh well. Man this thing had quite a few \"that just won\'t right!\" moments. Definitely put this on your list of Asian Horror Must Watch.

Not that scary...pretty mediocre, but worth a watch.

Great flick so far (halfway through) - but I admit I am kinda old and my eyesight is not what it used to be... I wish the subs were a bit bigger and easier to read. Larger and yellow has always worked best. I do appreciate a job well done though, so thanks Jak, Ethan and Sada!

Oh - and as far as Midnight Movie being a remake of this film... nope. Just a slightly similar theme, but far different story lines.

Shomba!!!

A ghoulish ghost movie with intelligently thought out twists. I am definately buying this one! I have nothing against Sadako-type ghosts,love \'em love \'em love \'em, this one was; although a bit solid, pretty horrifying. Good storyline. Watchout you movie pirateers...this is one film you don\'t want to be copying. 8/10

This is a totally creepy movie! I\'m a huge horror movie fan and ive watched my fair share of horror flicks but this one is probably one of the better Thai movies ive watched so far. U gotta give it to the Thais, they are making creepier and scarier horror flicks!

Some parts that make u jump too! i was actually a little spooked out by it after I watched it... some parts can be quite chilling... 8/10 ! (dont watch it alone....:P)

Watch this one. Really scary. A very good horror movie with a twist!

All in all it was a pretty decent film. Plot wise and character wise, it falls short. The main character\'s wooden acting is really unbearable, well at least for me. And I just felt like the story had no sense of direction whatsoever. It was a good movie at first until it took a bad turn which made it feel like an obvious rip off of a much better horror movie also Thai which is called The Victim (highly suggest you watch that). In the end, I suggest this movie if you like horror movies such as the victim and a pretty good scare. Besides, the lady ghost pretty much made it worthwhile. Did you see how creepy it was?! I\'m going to be sleeping with the lights on for a couple of nights lol

WOW this is so worth watching it gave me goosebmps all over! AAh i hate the backpack scene and the poster it made it seem so real with the \'based on rel events\' title *shudder* this is my number 1 favorite now.

This is one of the better ones I\'ve seen in a while. Kept me guessing the whole time. It\'s made me wonder if anyone would ever be able to put that soul to rest. So many people are going to die now from watching it. And, in the movie the show the victims sitting at the table or on the floor in that one room. Is she going to have enough room to fit everyone in there? Anyways, yes very creepy and good.

I wasn\'t able to watch this movie well because my eyes were half closed for 3/4 of this movie LOL! Shomba suddenly pops out of nowhere, made my heart jump!

Hmm... not really for me - I was expecting a lot more.. I thought the acting was BRILLIANT - I just didn't really like the plot.. Some very jumpy parts in places, I think I actually jumped about 3 times throughout.. I will give it a 6 out of 10, but I would recommend it cos lots of people might like it..

Agree w/Gwenabee on everything, it has good special effects n actors, n the beginning was very good, but it gets so repetitive n so out there that it later stops being as scary as it was at the beginning. Ill give it a 7,5/10
