8/10 for me.
Deathnell (9/25/2009 @ 10:35 pm)
This is a fantastic collection of 3 traditional Japanese horror stories. All 3 are great, and the emotions of sadness, fear, terror, and at times love and beauty are felt. What I like about these stories is they depict how often people can do horrible things and they eventually pay for them in one way or another. In the second story, we see how love can often never be denied, even when it is forbidden and tragic.

A Must watch. This was brilliant, all 3 stories are just so well told , the music and animation is top class and the actual tales all revolve around grudges and betrayals.
poeticpersimmon (9/28/2009 @ 4:46 pm)
For anyone who\'s interested, the opening theme is \'HEAT ISLAND\' by Rhymesters f/ FIRE BALL, & the ending song is \'Haru no Katami\' by Chitose Hajime.

@ Grimwitch , you screen resolution/size is too small .Try holding down CTRL and then pushing the + or - button to resize.

Good. It works in Poland.
HaitiPI (11/22/2009 @ 11:35 pm)
First of all, No problems working in Haiti

This first tale is to Japanese Horror as Dracula or Frankenstein is the American & European Horror. Oiwa and her f-up eye are the model to probably more than half of the scorned in life female ghosts in J-Horror. The Long Hair, the Eye (now shown as peaking through the Hair in front of the ghosts face). The image continues to terrify long after the new \"Draculas\" have turned to pathetic pasty heartthrobs for pubescent teen girls.

A1 Story and a 9/10 production here.
LFrog1386 (12/7/2009 @ 3:20 am)
Wow, I am impressed at the amazing group of diverse people we have here! And to haitiPI: nice catch, comparing the first tale to the future ghost girls in Asian horror-not many people realize the one eye peeking through the hair has significance.
SkyGemini (12/11/2009 @ 12:05 am)

Beautifully drawn traditional anime! I enjoyed this a lot, especially the first two stories. The only problem is I wouldn't necessarily like to watch this again, it's more of a one-time experience.
