The Gamera saga continues with this installment that finds the hero to children everywhere doing battle with an evil dino-lizard named Zedus. A young boy named Toru (Ryo Tomioka) is walking along the beach when he discovers a most unusual egg.

When the egg hatches to reveal an adorable flying turtle, Toru names the creature "Toto" and attempts to hide it from his estranged father, still grief-stricken over the recent loss of his beloved wife. Though all evidence points to "Toto" being a baby..

Another monster movie. Not bad I guess, a bit cheesy (like most of the other ones really...so not such a bad thing I guess.).It tells the story of a boy who find a weird little turtle...but the turtle does not stay little for long being Gamera. Reminds me a bit of Monster Island the 1960's movie also with a bot befriending the son of Godzilla. Anyway, it's watcheable, if you like Kaiju movies, you'll probably like it. But not the most original title in the massive Godzilla movie list.6/10 for Kaiju lovers, 4/10 for the rest. Thanks for posting though and as always, keep up the good work!!

Gamera is my hero, too!
The first Japanese film I ever saw was King Kong Versus Godzilla. When I was a kid, a local TV station used to broadcast a Kaiju every Saturday afternoon. Totally cool.
The Kaiju films all have several things in common, like guys in monster suits destroying miniature cities, lots of extras running away screaming, & a nerdy scientist who always wants to control the monsters. Lots of silly fun.
Thanks for posting.

yeah its also usually like a race from another planet or under the sea controlling them monsters to attack the humans or its like a business venture gone wrong when they find an egg and attempt settin up a tourist attraction
